And at St. Dorothy’s Rest, we believe every child deserves the chance to experience the magic of camp—regardless of financial circumstances. Thanks to the generosity of donors, families, and the Episcopal Diocese of California, we ensure that no camper is ever turned away due to cost.
We offer tiered pricing for all sessions, giving families flexibility in choosing the rate that best fits their budget. Payment plans are available, and camperships provide additional financial assistance for families who need it.
In 2019, we introduced Gender Expansive bunking to ensure that every camper feels safe and seen. But inclusion is more than a policy—it’s a commitment. Our staff and volunteers undergo equity and diversity training, our facilities continue to evolve to meet the needs of all, and our programs are designed with radical belonging in mind.

Memorial Day Family Camp
For families of all ages to get a sneak peek of what being a camper at St. Dorothy’s Rest looks like. Gear up for a weekend of canoeing, hiking, and some classic camp activities. We’ll tie-dye, do some archery, make some crafts, and sing our hearts out at campfire. Join us for a weekend of family fun and connect with each other under the redwoods.
June 4-7 | 🍀 All Ages

Camp Comeback
For families, friends, and everyone in between! Let your inner child come out and experience camp magic once again. This year comes with a special twist. We’re kicking off the year with a color wars fundraiser that directly supports St. Dorothy’s Rest. There are four different generations who are all going to “compete” in different challenges that all benefit camp in some way. The winning generation will be announced on the last day of Camp Comeback after a weekend of some good ol’ fashioned camp fun. Come see old friends and make new ones, have fun doing camp activities, and experience your love for summer camp again!

Russian River Adventure I
For kids between the ages of 8 to 12 who can’t wait to get outside and experience something new! Your camper will find their community while spending a jam packed week full of canoeing, hiking, outdoor activities, and fun under the redwoods. Don’t forget to pack pieces of clothing that are red, blue, green, and yellow for our color wars on the last full day at camp. Your camper will be assigned a team the day of the event and compete in our color war games. Get ready for a new adventure!
June 28-July 3 🍀 Ages 13-15

Teen Adventure Week I: Angel Island
For teens between the ages 13 to 15 who are ready for a new adventure! During TAW I we will travel to Angel Island in the San Francisco Bay for a fun-filled backpacking trip for 3 days and 2 nights. We’ll explore the island, learn about the historical sites, and sleep under the stars. Once we get back to camp we’ll have some delicious s’mores and spend the next couple of days having some good ol’ fashioned camp fun. Don’t forget to pack pieces of clothing that are red, blue, green, and yellow for our color wars on the last full day at camp. Your camper will be assigned a team the day of the event and compete in our color war games. Gear up for a new adventure!
July 9-11 🍀 Ages 5-8

Ankle Biter Camp (ABC)
A camp for your youngin’s to experience camp for the first time with you by their side. You and your camper will spend 3 days and 2 nights full of fun and games! Need a bit of a break? No worries, our counselors will entertain your camper with some super fun activities while you kick back and relax. Don’t worry though, you will still be able to join in on the fun during our dress-up tea party or another activity the two of you choose!
July 13-July 18 🍀 Ages 13-15

Teen Adventure Week II: Point Reyes
For teens between the ages 13 to 15 who are ready for a new adventure! During TAW II we will travel to Wildcat Campground in Point Reyes for a fun-filled backpacking trip for 3 days and 2 nights. We’ll have 3 different hiking trails for different levels of challenges, hike over a beautiful waterfall, swing off of a rope swing into refreshing waters, and explore the beach. Once we get back to camp we’ll have some delicious s’mores and spend the next couple of days having some good ol’ fashioned camp fun. Don’t forget to pack pieces of clothing that are red, blue, green, and yellow for our color wars on the last full day at camp. Mini Camp
For your young camper who just can’t wait to come to camp! Your camper will join our Russian River campers at the final stretch of camp. They’ll get settled in while the rest of the camp is hiking all day on Thursday so they won’t be too overwhelmed. Don’t forget to pack pieces of clothing that are red, blue, green, and yellow for our color wars on the last full day at camp. Your camper will be assigned a team the day of the event and compete in our color war games. Your little one is sure to have a blast!
July 27-August 1 🍀 Ages 15+
Counselor-In-Training Program
For teens who are just not ready for camp to be over! Counselors in Training (CIT) are between 15 to 17 years old and get to experience what being a camp counselor at St. Dorothy’s entails. After our two Teen Adventure Week sessions, if your camper showed interest in being a CIT on their camper registration form we will contact them for an interview. If your child is chosen they will spend a week shadowing our camp counselors during Russian River II, learning what camp looks like behind the scenes and testing out what it’s like to work at St. Dorothy’s.
August 7-10 🍀 All Ages

Camp Wonder
Experience a more laid back version of camp for families with neurodivergent children between the ages of 5 to 25. Join us for our family camp in collaboration with Common Ground Society, whose mission is to ensure that families in the neurodivergent community feel a sense of belonging through meaningful connections and local support. At Camp Wonder, you and your loved one will experience great food, a community who understands, and a plethora of fun activities to choose from, all while in a peaceful, tranquil, and historic setting under the redwoods.
August 14-16 🍀 All Ages

Queer Family Camp
Experience one of our new all age family camps! Whether you, your child, or entire family identify with the LGBTQIA+ community, your family is welcome at St. Dorothy’s Rest. Join us for a peaceful weekend of family fun where we’ll hike, make some crafts, sing our hearts out at campfire, and more. Find your community and make meaningful memories as a family!
