Work at St. Dorothy's Rest

The Executive Director oversees year‑round operations, staff leadership, fundraising, community partnerships, and the stewardship of a legacy of rest and renewal. This role requires a seasoned nonprofit leader with strong skills in personnel management, donor engagement, financial oversight, and relationship‑building across diverse communities. Experience in camp or retreat ministry, youth‑centered programming, and working within Episcopal or similar faith‑based structures is strongly preferred.

 

The ideal candidate is an emotionally intelligent communicator, a collaborative team builder, and a passionate advocate for equity, inclusion, and belonging. They will guide St. Dorothy’s through upcoming capital projects, strengthen partnerships with diocesan and community leaders, and serve as a visible ambassador for this beloved place of rest.
 

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 plus benefits (medical, dental, life, disability, retirement match). On‑site housing available.
 

Schedule: Full‑time, includes some weekends and regional travel.

Cabin Counselor

Cabin Counselors are high school graduates, age 18+, who live in and care for a cabin group. Each counselor helps guide daily activities, supports campers ages 5–15, and mentors the J-Crew assigned to their cabin.

​

Whether you're into the outdoors, the arts, or just love working with kids, being a counselor is a chance to make a real difference. Come be part of something meaningful this summer.

Junior Counselor

As a Junior Counselor, you’ll support our counselors and create a positive camp environment for our campers. You must be 16 or 17 by June 8th, 2026 to apply as a Junior Counselor. You'll help guide daily activities and assist in the kitchen, all while working on your teamwork and leadership skills.
