A spring-long challenge for all generations of St. Dorothy's Rest campers, counselors & found family

Color Wars is a spirited, nostalgia-filled, multi-generational challenge that brings together decades of St. Dorothy’s alumni, campers, counselors, and camp-shaped people. It blends friendly rivalry with storytelling, reconnection, and collective generosity—all in service of strengthening St. Dorothy’s Rest for future generations.

This isn’t just about who wins! It’s about remembering what camp gave us, finding each other again, and making sure the magic of St. Dorothy’s continues in tangible, meaningful ways.

For generations, St. Dorothy’s Rest has been a place of belonging, growth, creativity, and transformation. Color Wars is our invitation to:

  • Reconnect across decades of camp life

  • Gather stories, photos, and shared history

  • Invest together in improvements that directly impact campers 

  • Pass forward the experiences that shaped us

Each Color Wars team represents a decade of campers and counselors. 

Throughout the spring, we’ll roll out fun monthly and micro challenges—some about showing up, some about sharing history, some about giving back. Participation looks different for everyone, and it all counts.
